1. Our services

We provide booking services for accommodation in Barcelona , especially short and middle term apartment rentals. We act as an intermediate between the direct apartment owners and hotels, and users in order to provide the possibility to search and book accommodation online. Our service is based on information provided by apartment owners and hotels.


2. Booking procedure

Our booking procedure is very simple. All enquiries are accepted in written form only, through our online form or by email at maria @ barcelonaapartments-k.com. The information we require to process your request are: your arrival and departure dates, the number of persons, and your return email address; please also state the preferred type of accommodation and special request if any.

The usual period for processing your request and send you our answer is less than 24 hours.

All reservations are accepted in a written form only. Through our booking form we require the following information: your name, address, the details of your arrival and departure (can be provided at a later date if necessary), number of persons and your contact phone number. We accept the form by email or by fax at +34 933807417 or +34 617 014 129.

We guarantee to respect the privacy of all our clients and not disclose your data to third parties without your express consent.

Taxi booking

We offer transfer service from the airport and train stations. The transfer can be booked together with the accommodation or at a later date. In order to confirm your taxi reservation we request your arrival and departure details.


3. Prices

The prices are per apartment and are usually based on the number of persons (with few exceptions, when the price remains the same for the entire apartment).

for instance:

1 - 2 persons 75 (mid – season)

3 persons 87 (mid – season)

4 persons 96 (mid – season)

The prices for each apartment are full rates with no hidden extras. The prices include towels, linen, cleaning of the apartments before check-in, hot water, gas, electricity and heating, VAT and all taxes.

There are NO booking fees added to the prices.

All prices are stated in euros. We accept payment in euros or in Czech Crowns (CZK). If you wish to pay in CZK please let us know and we'll quote the full price based on the current exchange rate.


4. Offers and discounts

Discounts for children: children under 2 years old are welcome free of charge; we will also provide a baby cot on request. For children of 2 – 12 years old we can usually offer a discount, depending on the apartment and on the period of stay.

Last minute discounts: We offer discounts of 10 – 25% for last minute reservations. The last minute discounts apply for the next 14 days at most, depending on the availability of our apartments. The discounts apply to the full rates and there are no other extra charges to the discounted price.

Long stay discounts: We offer weekly and monthly discounts for longer stays. They depend on the period of your stay and availability of the apartments. Please contact us to receive our offer with the actual rates for your stay.

Other offers and discounts: Our offers program includes most of our apartments, during the entire year. The offers apply for determined periods, and are displayed on our Offers page. The minimum stay requirement to benefit from these offers is 3 nights.


5. Payment conditions

We do not request payment in advance: the payment has to be made in full on your arrival at the apartment.

Exceptions (when we ask for payment in advance):

in case of group reservation (10 persons or more),

for holidays (Easter, Christmas, New Year),

for reservations that exceed 1000 euros,

for some of our apartments (only for the apartments that have this notice on their presentation page).


6. Cancellation terms and conditions

Low and mid-season: There are no charges of cancellation if you notify us no later than 4 days before your arrival.

Exception: in those cases when deposit is required in advance, the deposit will be returned to you in case of late cancellation, if we are notified more than 7 days before scheduled arrival. If notified 7 – 4 days before arrival, the deposit will not be returned.

In case of no-show or cancellation 72 hours before your arrival or less, the cancellation charge is 50% of the total cost of accommodation.

Holidays: There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us at least 11 days before your arrival date. If you cancel your booking giving 10 days notice or less, the cancellation charge is 20% of the total cost of your accommodation. In case of no-show or cancellation 72 hours before your arrival or less, the cancellation charge is 50% of the total cost of your accommodation.

Taxi transfers can be cancelled two hours before they are scheduled, with no cancellation charges. In case of no-show the cancellation charge is 100% of the cost of the transfer.


7. Complaints

All complaints must be registered while you are in Barcelona. If you have any problem with the accommodation or other service we have arranged please let us know immediately (by phone, fax or e-mail), so that we can to sort it out. In case of complains made after departure we do not carry any liability for any problems.


8. Change of booking:

If you decide to alter your reservation (e.g. number of persons, dates, apartment or taxi transfer), please let us know by e-mail as early as possible. The changes for individuals or small groups are free of charge if cancellation rules do not apply. If the change is notified within 4 days prior to arrival, partial cancellation charges may apply.


9. Liability

We promise to make sure that the service we agreed to provide is fulfilled with reasonable skill and care. We will accept responsibility if any failure or mistake in your travel arrangements is caused by our employees or by our travel consultants. However, as we are only intermediary between clients and service suppliers, we will not take responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or any other claim when the fault is clearly caused by the service suppliers (for instance apartment owner, driver etc).


10. Check-in - check-out

The standard check-in time is at 14:00. If the apartment will be free the night before your arrival and you need the apartment earlier than 14:00, you can check in as soon as you arrive in Barcelona at no extra charge.

The standard check-out time is at 11:00. If we do not have guests arriving on the day of your departure, you can extend your stay at the apartment.

In any case you can leave your luggage with us on your arrival or departure day until you can check in the apartment or after check-out, until you need to leave Barcelona.
